For several days in June, the Linn County Fairgrounds is home to carnival rides, grandstand events, livestock shows, and many other fair-themed activities; but for the other 359 days of the year, the Linn County Fairgrounds is home to public and private events. The public and private events held on the fairgrounds include events such as weddings, 4-H workshops and events, educational events, business meetings, and more. Many of the events held on the fairgrounds are hosted in the Lynn Dunn Memorial building. The Lynn Dunn Memorial building, or LDM, was officially opened in the fall of 2014, and is one of the major reasons that the fairgrounds is accessible all year round.
