Future Fairgrounds Projects

In 2023, the Linn County Fair was able to enlist the help of 2 Rising Star Interns from Iowa State University, Keira Kreuzenstein and Lila Krall. Lila took the lead on a design project at the Linn County Fairgrounds to design a new grandstand. Through networking with a variety of people to gather ideas to use design strategies learned through school, they were able to create a conceptual design for the fair association to start advertising. The renderings are not final and are just conceptual for now. The Linn County Fair Grandstand committee has started initial stages of planning and are currently working on a plan to tackle fundraising efforts to begin the steps of starting this exciting project!
