Please read through all rules and regulations carefully.
• Professional Baker’s class: anyone who sells their product from home or at a business
• Junior Home Baker’s class: ages 5-17
• Adult Home Baker’s class: open to anyone who does not sell products from home- based business or a professional business
• Items must be created by the exhibitor.
• Please Do Not label anything with your name (we will be using exhibitor numbers).
• Not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Key Rules
• Edible materials only: Provide a recipe, and focus on creative, humorous ugliness.
• 100% Edible: All decorations must be edible; non-edible props or support usually cause disqualification.
• Base Requirement: The entry must be a real cake (homemade or mixed), not just a sculpture.
• Theme & Title: Entries should be themed and named (e.g., "rotting jack-o'-
lantern," "dirty cat box," or "severed hand").
• Appearance First: Judging is based on appearance, creativity, and the "story" behind the design, not taste.
• Safety & Appropriateness: While meant to be disgusting, designs must still be appropriate for public viewing, avoiding overly raunchy concepts.
• Required Documentation: A recipe card listing all decoration ingredients is usually mandatory.
