Open Photography

Photography Contest

1. All prints must measure a minimum of 5”x7” and no larger than 8"x10”.
2. ALL ENTRIES IN THE PHOTOGRAPHY CATEGORY MUST BE MATTED OR MOUNTED – NO FRAMES. IF PICTURES ARE MOUNTED, YOU MUST USE FOAM CORE MATERIAL.
3. Pictures are accepted in either matte or glossy finish. Sharpness and print quality are important.
4. 4-H exhibitors may enter Open Exhibit competition as long as 2 sets of prints are made, one for 4-H project show and one in Open Exhibit Hall.
5. All exhibitors are limited to no more than 3 entries per lot, not to exceed 10 entries per class, in this Photography division.
6. Entries are made on Monday June 23 from 10:00AM-6:30 PM. This is a free gate and there is no entry fee.
7. Entries MUST be picked up Sunday June 29 from 4:00 PM- 6:30 PM. The chairperson is not responsible for any photos left, nor will he/she let any works go until 4PM.
8. The chairperson reserves the right to combine or eliminate classes for better judging.
9. Utmost care will be taken in displaying and guarding works, but the Fair Association and its employees are not liable for damage or mishaps.
10. Ribbons will be awarded and a Best in show winner overall in each class.

USE ALL COLOR PHOTOS UNLESS STATED BLACK & WHITE.

DO NOT USE THE SAME PHOTO IN DIFFERENT CATEGORIES.

Definition of a Non-Professional: anyone not selling or Marketing your Photography.

Any photography that is considered professional will not be eligible to enter Non-Professional classes. They will have their own Class Division.
