Tickets: Grandstand- $15, Trackside- $20

Everyone, no matter age, will need a ticket to attend the concert. Grandstand seating is General Admission. No reserved seats!! No coolers or lawn chairs. There are NO seats on the Track except several bleachers at the back of the track.

Directions to The Linn County Fair

 

The Linn County Fairgrounds are located just South of Central City on the East side of Highway 13. Address 201 Central City Road, Central City, IA 52214.

Directions:

    From the intersection of Highway 151 and Highway 13(East of Marion) travel North on 13 to the first cross-roads past the viaduct on Highway 13(Central City Road). This is approximately 13 miles. At that intersection, turn right(East) on Central City Road. Watch for Signs.

Rock Showcase

 

The Linn County Fair and KRNA supports local live music and wants to showcase some of the rock bands in the area.

The votes have been tallied, congrats to Nihil Seraph for receiving the most votes and being the headliner for the Rock Showcase.

The Rock Showcase lineup:

                                  

Somewhere Conscious-Quad Cities  - Kicking off the show at 8pm   

      

Concrete Moon- Cedar Rapids   - follows performing about 9pm

      

Nihil Seraph- Iowa City   - closing the night with performance about 10pm

    

 

Rock Showcase Time line:

Receive entries: April 21st to May 9th
Online Voting: May 12th to May 26th
(Noted: Votes must be received between 12:01am on May 12th, 2008 and 5pm on May 26th, 2008. Any votes received outside of this time frame will not count towards the final votes.)

One of Lynn's passions in life was the county fair industry. He served as a board member of the Linn County Fair with great pride and diligence. He also served as director of the Association of Iowa Fairs Northeast District.
