VOLUNTEERS WANTED 
The Linn County Fair is looking for volunteers to assist us in making the 2008 fair a successful community event. The Linn County Fair Association is a non-profit organization and is run strictly by volunteers. With all the added attractions, volunteer help is needed more than ever. It is not necessary to join the association to volunteer at the fair. Volunteers are needed for both light and heavy-duty work and for a few hours to a whole day.
 
Some of the areas that volunteers are still needed for the 2008 fair include:

 Tent Workers
 
Free entertainment tent monitor:
Friday 7pm-11:30PM; Sunday Morning 9am-2pm; Sunday afternoon 2pm-7pm
 

Beer Tent workers;

Front gate ID swiper and wrist band:       Sunday 12pm-5pm - 2  people;   Sunday 5pm-close- 2 people

Beer garden gate wrist band checkers & floater:     Friday 4:30pm-8pm- 2 people;     Friday 8pm-close- 1 person;

Saturday 2pm-7pm- 2 people;     Sunday 12pm-5pm- 1 person;    Sunday 5pm-close- 1 person

Cashiers:     Friday 4:30pm-8pm- 2 people;      Friday- 8pm- close- 2 people;    Saturday-2pm-7pm- 1 person ;  

 Sunday 12pm-5pm- 2 people;    SUnday 5pm-close- 1 person
