2012 Royalty Forms and Information

2012 Linn County Fair Queen Application Packet
Queen & Princess
  • Represent the fair with a smile
  • Be at Grandstand events during fair                                                                                                
  • Welcome people to the fair
  • Be visible, be seen
  • Between Queen and Princess all livestock events need to be attended at some point during their event to hand out ribbons & trophies
  • Be present during Static judging day (Wednesday of 2013)
  • Participate in Youth day (Thursday of fair)
  • Participate in Community day (Friday of fair)
  • Attend livestock auction, work with Auction Committee to help where needed
  • See list of 2012 Fair Events, will need to attend most events when possible
  • Attend the 2012 Pie Auction held on Sunday of the fair
  • Donate a pie to the Annual Pie Auction
  • When not busy with other events, try and visit the Free Entertainment tent or other events around the fairgrounds
  • Queen must be able to attend the Iowa State Fair to represent the Linn County Fair
  • 2012 Fair Queen & Princess will need to be present at the 2013 Linn County Fair BBQ
  • Will be need to try and attend parades throughout the year as Queen or Princess
  • Attend events throughout the year (ie. Cattleman’s Banquet, Celebration of Ag, Ag in the Park, 4-H Award Ceremony, attend a fairboard meeting, attend a 4-H clubs meeting, fair clean-up, etc.)
  • 4th of July Parades in the Linn County area ie. Central City, Fairfax, etc.

Taylor Zumbach
is the daughter of Louie and Deb Zumbach of Coggon. She will be a senior at North-Linn High School. Her future plans are to attend a four year college and major in nursing.
Erin Pisarik
is the daughter of Steve and Susan Pisarik of Mount Vernon, and will be a senior at Mount Vernon High School. Her future plans are to attend a four year college and major in a nursing program.
