2012 Linn County Fair
Poultry Royalty Queen & Princess |
| This is the first year the Linn County Fair has had a Poultry Princess and a Poultry Queen. The Poultry Program has had a Lot of interest since Cedar Rapids started allowing Chickens in town again. We have had so much growth that we were in need of more cages to be able to allow all 4-Hers in Linn County to be able to be shown. The Linn County Fair board purchased 75 more new cages this spring. The 4-H Poultry kids are wanting to give back to The Linn County Fair so they are getting together and saving the Fair Fresh eggs that are laid at fair this year.To be auctioned at the fair auction on Monday July 2, 2012. All the proceeds Will go back to the fair board into the Linn Dunn Memorial Fund. The 4-Hers are also having a homemade cookie drive in the poultry program to sweeten the pot a little more for the winning. We would like to thank the fair board members for all there hard work to make our fair great. |
