In the second year of the Little Mr. and Miss Linn County Fair contest, there were 13 contestants. In order to run for Little Mr. or Miss the child must reside in Linn County, be in kindergarten through third grade, and have participated in the fair in some way. The Linn County Fair would like to give a big thanks to the Little Mr. and Miss Contest partner, Joel Rochleau at Security State Bank, who made the event possible this year. They would also like to thank the companies who donated prizes to this year's contest:The Play Station, Chuck E. Cheese, Waterhouse Centre in Central City, Dairy Queen in Marion, Vance Wickham with Farm Bureau Financial Services, and Security State Bank in Springville.

The 2012 Little Miss Linn County Fair is Morgan Nachazel. Morgan is the daughter of Joe and Michelle Nachazel of Central City, Iowa. Morgan is eight years old and attends Springville Schools.
