Each year the Linn County Fair holds a wide variety of contests and events.

This contest is open to all children (ages 5-19) in Linn County. The purpose of the contest is to show the different ways in which everyone can reduce, reuse, and recycle. The posters will be displayed on the outside of the buildings throughout the fairgrounds during the fair. Entry day for posters is Wednesday, July 8 at the gate building.

Piercing the Darkness is a five-piece Christian rock and worship band from southeast Iowa.  Originally formed in January 2007, P.T.D. performs a variety of originals along with some of your favorite Christian tunes.  The band's mission is simple: spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through music and testimony.
