  • 9:00am -2pm- Plant Doctor-Master Gardener Events – Garden Building

 

  • 9am-American Kennel Club Canine Experience. The Cedar Rapids Kennell Association will be offering general dog information-grooming and health. Meet the breeds, Dog Show 101 and information about all the different types of sports you can do with your dog.Through out the day there will be presentations on responsible dog ownership, events to do with your dog, a beginners guide to dog shows, handling and grooming seminars and we are working on a micro chip clinic and a few vendors offering dog food and supplies.For more details click here to go to American Kennel Club's website

  • 10:00am "Celebrating 120 Years of all American Fun and Exciting Thrills" Parade in Central City

 

 

  • 12:00pm Kiddie Kalf Show in-Cattle Ring (Arrival time:Friday July 11th 9am-12 or Saturday July 12th at 8am) Open to youth ages 8 years old and younger. Calf must be born no earlier than May 1st, 2008 and will be checked upon arrival by vet. Costumes are strongly encouraged for all participants and calves. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to all.  An AKC Sanction Match including Junior Showmanship & an Obedience Show & Go Match Show is open to anyone. $10 per entry per dog, $7 additional entry same dog, $7 for 4-H kids. Everyone, no matter age, will need a ticket to attend the concert. Grandstand seating is General Admission. No reserved seats!! No coolers or lawn chairs. There are NO seats on the Track except several bleachers at the back of the track.
