"CELEBRATING 120 YEARS OF ALL AMERICAN FUN"  Saturday, July 12, 2008 10 a.m FOR QUESTIONS email: parade@thelinncountyfair.com NEW INFORMATION: Check-in will begin at 8:30 am at the Day Care on Barber Street. Registration will not be required, but every unit must have a signed indemnity agreement to participate in the parade.
To simplify staging, units will line up as they arrive after check-in. Each unit will stop in front of the judges' table to give their name and category to the judges before they move on. Once past the judges' table the parade should proceed smoothly. The parade will end at the fairgrounds, disbursement area to the left of the race track. All participants are then asked to proceed to the grandstand where the winners will be announced and ribbons and prizes to be awarded. You MUST be present (or have a representative present) in order to receive prizes/ribbons. THE LINN COUNTY FAIR PARADE
INDEMNITY AGREEMENTAn officer of the sponsoring organization participating in The Linn County Fair Parade 2007 must sign this form. It can be mailed or emailed, or brought along at time of parade check-in. No unit will be allowed to participate without this signed form.
(your organization) agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend any action against The Linn County Fair Association, its officers or members, the city of Central City and its council members, its employees, agents and volunteers of the aforementioned, from and against all liabilities whatsoever arising out of their participation in The Linn County Fair Parade.
