The Band Roughstock has been tearing up venues in the midwest for almost 7 years. Though the band has over 40 years of collective experience. Roughstock plays top 40 country with a little outlaw country and a kick of southern rock. The band consists of 5 members ranging in age from 27 to 60. Which gives the band a whole lotta fire and musical experience from proffessional studio recording to backing national acts. All of this combined gives ROUGHSTOCK a song list of over 300 songs from Keith Urban to Johnny Cash. The band has played venues from opening up for national acts like David Allen Coe and Sawyer Brown to privately booked street party's.

The Jazz Mavericks are six young musicians from Mt. Vernon, Iowa, who perform jazz and rock compositions by famous artists such as Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Chicago, and Blood, Sweat, & Tears. The Jazz Mavericks have been performing in the Mt. Vernon/Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area since 2004. The Mavericks were formed in December 2003 by several students who needed an outlet to play their instruments in a group outside of school. With help from parents and the school band director the Mavericks have built a solid following playing regular gigs around the community.

7:30pm- Dave Paris
Versatility: this has always been the goal of Cedar Rapids, Iowa guitarist Dave Paris. From the formable years of Dave’s playing, he has always sought to be the type of guitarist who could fit into any circumstance or musical situation. Performing thousands of shows over the years, he has played clubs and coffeehouses, festivals and videos, churches and youth camps, radio singles to commercials, and taught hundreds of guitar lessons. With his over 20 years of playing experience beginning as a child, Dave has studied under numerous instructors, attended Hollywood California’s Musicians’ Institute/Guitar Institute of Technology, and taken numerous music theory classes studying classical and jazz arrangements and composition. Together with his wife Barbe, their faith and musical focus have lead to a working relationship in several bands and numerous musical opportunities. Sheltered Reality, Inc. (SR) is the nation’s first non-profit organization to use the power of music to motivate all people to attain success and effect positive change in the world. Founded in 1996 by Steven Schlosser, SR has expanded over the past 10 years from one small percussion and singing group in Iowa into a national organization. Currently, there are over 350 members based at 25 different lesson sites spread throughout 11 states. The mission to produce “Music with Meaning” has remained the same and continues to be achieved through a unique mix of high-energy percussive performances and motivational stories aimed at teaching individuals (primarily children and youth) to believe in their own capabilities to take action and make a positive difference in the world.
