With a combined 80 years of live music experience the band Lockren has assembled some of the best musicians to be found. This along with the youth and outstanding vocals of a 20 year old lead singer Lockren has become one of the  hottest bands around. The band Lockren covers songs from artists such as Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Kellie Pickler, Shania Twain, Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, and Johnny Cash along with classic Rock favorites Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Led Zeppelin, and ZZ Top. If you have never seen the band Lockren you owe it to yourself to come join the experience that is Lockren.
Saturday July 7, 2007  DeRailed are 3 friends that love to play music.. The range of their music is all over the place. Although they do rock and blues the majority of their songs have a upbeat blues feel to them.
 Right now they are playing a lot of covers and have a few originals. Their goal is to become an all original band..but for now they are rockin' the Cedar Rapids area with some of their favorite 80's, 90's and todays metal music. Some examples of what they play: Just Got Wicked, Animal I Have Become, Space Lord, Metal Health, Lick It Up, Forever by Papa Roach, My My, Headed For Destruction, Breaking The Law, Moon Baby, Lack of Communication and much much more. Sunday July 8, 2007  Started in the fall of 2006, Still Tickin has been writing songs and playing shows non-stop. The band is: Rich Budde from Evansdale on guitar and vocals, Ben Harmon from Mt. Vernon on guitar and vocals, Josh Way from Waterloo on bass and vocals, and Derek Marlowe from Vinton on drums. Still Tickin is a modern hard alternative band. Theirmusic can be related by anyone from any background. For fans of: Smile Empty Soul, Foo Fighters, Our Lady Peace and many more great hard rock bands. Borm from the percussion section of the band: "Flat Cat," the O'Connell Brothers feaures music centered on drums and percussion. The core of the band is of course, the O'Connell Brothers Mike, Pat and John. Formerly know as the "Irish Drums of Passion," the O'Connell boys have opened for national acts: "Foghat," "America," and "Chubby Carrier."
